History of the Leniv Brand
2005
Leniv was founded in 2005 as a specialized company focused on the repair and sharpening of band saws.
2006–2013
During this period, LLC Leniv actively cooperated with leading European manufacturers such as AKE, APEX, FABA, Kennametal, Kvarnstrands, Munkfors, Tigra, and others. Our specialists completed international training programs, internships at manufacturing facilities abroad, and regularly attended international exhibitions. This enabled us to apply advanced expertise in our own production processes and to professionally select tools tailored to the individual needs of each client.
2014
LLC Leniv relocated to a new industrial facility with significantly expanded production areas and capacities. In the same year, we launched the production and servicing of wide band saw blades, strengthening our position as a manufacturing-focused company.
2016
The company expanded its product range by introducing the production of Circular TCT Saw Blades and industrial knives, further diversifying its cutting tool portfolio.
2022
Despite the economic crisis and full-scale military aggression in Ukraine, LLC Leniv built two additional production workshops and doubled its workforce. These strategic investments significantly increased production capacity and operational resilience, reaching up to 90% market share in the woodworking cutting tools segment in Ukraine.
2023
As part of further expansion, LLC Leniv entered the agricultural sector, supplying cutting solutions for agro-processing and related industrial applications.
2024–2025
Production of cutting tools for the food industry was launched, meeting the highest standards of precision and reliability. As of 2025, LLC Leniv is the largest manufacturer of circular saw blades, band saw blades, and industrial knives in Ukraine.
2026
Over 90% of production is equipped with high-precision German VOLLMER machinery, ensuring consistent quality and repeatability. We operate as a full-cycle manufacturer, providing stability, scalability, and long-term reliability for our partners.
We strive to create convenient and mutually beneficial cooperation conditions, offering a comprehensive range of tools — from planer knives to exclusive custom-made products — with an individual approach to the technological requirements of each partner.
We also provide professional grinding and profiling (crowning) services for band sawmill wheels. We have experience working with the most common sawmill brands — Primultini, Stenner, EWD, Akemsan, Wravor, Söderhamn Eriksson, Serra, Mebor, and Neva. Our specialists conduct professional wear assessments, determine deviations in geometric profile parameters, and restore the original shape.
Today, LLC Leniv is one of the most advanced companies in Ukraine specializing in the production and servicing of woodworking cutting tools.
